Who has walked through an airport and saw what your fellow passengers were wearing and rolled your eyes? Is that only me? I have to say, the best people watching is in an airport, but it is also a fashion buzz kill for me. Come on people, I know you are traveling and you want to be comfortable, but you are still in public. You never know who you might run into. The passenger in A15 could be your favorite celebrity, and there you are in Daffy Duck pajamas pants. Not really the impression you want to display. Looking your best when traveling is not impossible and the suggestions here will help you look good from the beginning to the end of your journey. Choose clothing that is comfortable and stylish at the same time. Wear a pair of dark wash jeans or pants made of natural fibers, so you can stay comfortable while still looking presentable. Choose a blouse in a sheer cream color, made of chiffon fabric. The long sleeves are nice for airplane warmth, but the fabric is still light and breathable. Another plus is that this material does not wrinkle when packed away in a suitcase. Wearing a bright colored camisole underneath gives you that pop of color without being overwhelming. Picking a neutral color for the jacket is important, because it will have to go with all of your outfits while on your trip, as it will most likely be your only jacket choice if you travel like I do. I would go with a mocha color because it goes well with the dark wash jeans, and offsets the other accessories I have suggested. Your footwear needs to be easy to slip on and off to make moving through security much more simple. Ballet flats or a dressy sandal would be perfect. There is a lot that you cannot control when you travel on an airplane such as weather delays, the food served, or the temperature of the cabin. This is why it is so important for your travel happiness that you be prepared with the right outfit. Now boarding!!
